In a tax return guidance meeting you prepare your own return in your profile on the website of the Dutch tax authorities while we guide you through the program. 

We inform you on the basics, explain which items are relevant in your situation and we offer you the possiblity to ask questions, so that you learn how to file for future years.

Process
After ordering service as a new client, we are required to perform a client identification check. Once completed, we will send you an email with a link to calendly (to plan the meeting), a tax return checklist in which all possible income tax relevant items are mentioned, as well as details on our process. 

On the basis of the checklist, you collect all your tax relevant information and save it in a place where you can easily access it. The information and documentation will be required during the meeting. You do not need to share documentation with us, instead you share your screen, showing the relevant documentation during the meeting.

Note that you will be filing your own return through your portal on the website of the Dutch tax authorities - Belastingdienst.nl. You need to have an active Digid account to access your portal. 

When your return is complete, we will summarize and log all the reported items and share the summary with you as a confirmation what we discussed and what was filed in your income tax return.
